Aims and Scope
Aims
『Journal of Lifelong Learning Society (JLLS)』 is an academic journal that seeks to contribute to facilitatiing new developments and expansion of exchanges in pedagogy, and further implementation of a lifelong learning society by theoretically and empirically exploring lifelong education, lifelong learning, and a learning society.
Scope
Research on the 'lifelong learning society' requires new perspectives, analytical insights, and an integrated approach from various academic fields such as education, vocational training, and ICT engineering. Accordingly, the 『Journal of Lifelong Learning Society』 embraces the existing fields of lifelong education, distance education, educational technology, adult higher education, as well as vocational education and human resource development. Furthermore, beyond the traditional topics in pedagogy, we welcome exploratory and convergent research that presents the ideology, philosophy, system, policy, ecology, culture, welfare, and future prospects of the learning society, and we also recommend research dealing with diverse entities forming the learning society such as multicultural people, disabled people, out-of-school youth, etc. We look forward to the submission of many innovative and creative manuscripts that cross disciplinary boundaries.
